Centara Kata Resort Phuket

Very quiet hotel and at the same time very close to the Main Street with restaurants, markets and spas, and to the beach. The swimming pools were wonderful as was the food.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Centara Kata! The staff were exceptionally lovely, so helpful & kind & always going out of their way for their guests, special mention to Nancy Reception Manager & Kla in the breakfast & restaurant! They held a super fun pool party for everyone young & old, the buffet breakfast was amazing with a huge variety of offerings, the grounds are beautifully kept & the pools were gorgeous. Shops right outside with laundry service options, cash exchanges & plenty of food options. There are a lot of resident cats that live in the resort grounds that are friendly & really appreciate guests feeding them - we bought sachet cat food from the 7/11's for them, please consider doing the same for them as they are totally reliant on guest kindness :) Thank you for all your lovely hospitality Centara Kata you were absolutely superb!

Location was great, a lot of nearby shops. the pool was great. Loved it . Especially good for families. Beds were comfortable, view and activities at the pool was great. Free shuttle to the beach was amazing. Separate kids pool was also great.

We had THE most amazing stay at the Centara Kata. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond in everything. We felt so well looked after. The attention to detail from the team was incredible, we have never had such great service as we had here (and we have stayed in many lovely places around Thailand over the years). The rooms were clean and tidy and had beautiful outlooks, one onto the garden and the other onto one of the gorgeous swimming pools. The rooms have everything you need, the bathroom is beautiful and tranquil. The swimming pools are all AMAZING. Kids loved the DJ and foam party on Friday afternoon, so much fun. The food was incredible, the Chef is very talented and really cares about guests enjoying the menu. We loved the breakfasts, lunch and dinners and the fabulous International Buffet Dinner was a real treat! So delicious, all of it, very fresh, immaculately prepared and tasty. And so much selection, you don’t need to actually eat anywhere else! And the dining area is relaxing and gorgeous, we just loved it and kept coming back for our meals here instead of heading out. It’s a great location set back only a bit and due to this the Centara feels - and I believe is - VERY safe. Quick easy walk to the beach and lots of shops and food very close by, 7-11 etc. So convenient. Or the Centara have a free shuttle to the beach and back. We took that down and easily walked back by choice with the children, not a problem. Kata beach is stunning. We felt so relaxed, the Resort has everything you need and we enjoyed our time in the beautiful grounds too that are so well looked after, it really is an amazing huge property with lush gardens and it’s all so well kept and gorgeous walking around. The staff take such great care of it all and clearly have a lot of pride in what they do and how it is presented. What a gem, we all were sad to leave and will recommend Centara Kata to everyone. We would one million percent stay here again!
